Huge Quantum of the Seas arrives in Vietnam

Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas, the most high-tech cruise ship in the world, carrying more than 6,000 passengers and crew members made its first visit to Tan Cang Cai Mep Port in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province on June 17.

Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas, the most high-tech cruise ship in the world, carrying more than 6,000 passengers and crew members made its first visit to Tan Cang Cai Mep Port in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province on June 17.

Quantum of the Seas is on a 10-day cruise trip from Singapore, which will then leave Vietnam for Hong Kong (China).

The 18-storey ship which is designed as a gigantic five star floating hotel, has a capacity of 4,905 passengers and 1,500 crew members.

Saigon Tourist, the country’s leading travel company, received the international visitors and took them to visit attractions around Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh cities. The company received 33 cruise ships and 122,500 international passengers in the first five months.

On the occasion, Royal Caribbean International signed an agreement with Saigon Tourist to introduce its cruise ship tourism in Vietnam.
