Hanoi and Saigon Railways plan to add more trains on occasion of National Day on September 2, to meet the increasing demand.
Accordingly, the number of trains on several routes including Hanoi-Lao Cai-Nghe An-Thanh Hoa will be increased on August 30-31 and on September 2.
Hanoi Railways have announced discount fares for groups from August 30 to September 3.
Saigon Railways will provide more trains on routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang; Ho Chi Minh City-Phan Thiet-Quy Nhon-Hue-Hanoi.
Additionally, Vietnam Railways Corporation will also offer a discount of 10 percent for students from now until October 31.
