Flights, trains cancelled because of storm Doksuri

A number of trains and flights have been cancelled as a result of storm Doksuri. Meanwhile, some airports have been closed because of the typhoon by the end of September 15.
According to Vietnam Railways, several trains have been stopped at stations until the storm weakens, including SE3 in My Duc Station in Quang Binh province, SE6 in Dong Ha station in Quang Tri province, and others in Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Phuc, Sa Lung and Hien Si stations.
As planned, the company will issue a temporary halt for trains on September 15, consisting of SE7 and SE5 in Vinh station at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.; SE10 in Hue station at 12.30 p.m.; SE2 and SE4 in Da Nang station at 12.30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Meanwhile the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines (VNA) has cancelled 12 flights between Hanoi/HCM City and Vinh/Dong Hoi/Thanh Hoa, including VN 1264/65, 1266/67, 1268/69, 1714/15, 7400/01, 1270/71.
The carrier will operate flight arrivals and departures from Da Nang and Hue aiports after 2 p.m. on September 15; and from Dong Hoi (Quang Binh), Vinh (Nghe An), Tho Xuan (Thanh Hoa) aiports by the end of the day.
The low-cost carrier Vietjet Air is also canceling 21 flight arrivals and departures from aiports, Thanh Hoa, Vinh (Nghe An), Dong Hoi (Quang Binh), Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang, and Chu Lai (Quang Nam).
