Dozens of flight cancellations due to typhoon Doksuri

Carriers have already cancelled many flights on local routes on September 14-15 because of the influence of tropical typhoon Doksuri that is forecast to make landfall in the central region on late September 15 and early September 16.

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines (VNA) has just announced that it will stop exploiting 22 flights from and to airports, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Vinh, Dong Hoi, Hue, Da Nang, Da Lat and Ho Chi Minh City.
Accordingly, 9 flights on September 14, including VN187/1547/1546 connecting Hanoi and Da Nang/Hue; VN7135/7140/1376/1377/1400/1401 between Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Hoi/Hue/ Da Nang have been cancelled.
13 flights on September 15, including VN105,110,112,113,117,122,125,140,160,161,163,170,187 from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City/Hue/Da Nang; VN1954/1955 on Da Nang-Da Lat route will be also called off. Many other local flights are rescheduled to take off on these days.
Meanwhile budget airline Jetstar Pacific is canceling flights on September 14, 15 including BL226/BL227 on HCM City-Chu Lai route; BL350/BL351 between HCM City and Dong Hoi; and BL482 / BL483 / BL582 / BL583 / BL233 / BL232 / BL520 / BL521 / BL350 / BL351 / BL431 / BL430 from HCM City to Thanh Hoa/Hue/Vinh/Dong Hoi, Hue-Da Lat, Dong Hoi-Chiang Mai.
The low-cost carrier Vietjet Air also stopped exploiting flights, consisting of VJ374/VJ375/VJ376/VJ377 on HCM City-Chu Lai-HCM City route on September 14.
