The new service will be operational on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, using 180-seat Airbus 320.

Flights from Da Nang are scheduled to take off at 10:10 am, while the return flights depart at 14.05 p.m. Flight time from Da Nang to Hong Kong (China) is 1 hour and 45 minutes. A one-way ticket will cost VND 290,000 (US$12).

Da Nang-Hong Kong (China) is the third general rule international route of Jetstar Pacific and Jetstar Group to the central coastal city, after the Da Nang–Taipei (in the Chinese province of Taiwan) and Da Nang–Singapore routes.

The carrier expects to meet travel demand of passengers and speed up the growth of tourism industry between the two sides.

The central region has recently attracted a large number of visitors. Around 1.7 million international tourists came to Da Nang in 2016.
