A bus tour from Beihei in China’s Guangxi province to Ha Long Bay via Ha Noi started up on September 29, half a year after a sea cruise began operating between the Chinese city and the famous bay on Viet Nam’s far north coast.
Thirty five passengers took the first trip, leaving Beihei at 11 am, arriving at the border at 4:30 pm and switching to a bus operated by the Son Duc Company of Lang Son Province for the trip to Ha Noi.
The service, which leaves Beihei every day, should boost the number of Chinese tourists coming to Viet Nam, officials said.
