The 2016 Southern Food Festival featuring hundreds of South Vietnam's dishes will be held at Dam Sen Park in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 11 from May 28-June 1.
The event will attract many restaurants, hotels, food and beverage enterprises in the city and adjacent areas to introduce more than 250 dishes from the Mekong Delta, southern and central highlands regions.
Other activities include food and beverage making performance, reproduction of a countryside market, and music show.
Launched in 2011, the annual food festival aims to honor Vietnamese dishes and promote local cuisine to foreign visitors.
