The athlete conquered 13.22 meters in category of triple jump to bring the first bronze medal for Vietnam.

Thu Thao had ever won the silver medal in long jump at the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG).
Bui Thi Thu Thao, Nguyen Thi Oanh and Nguyen Tien Trong are three Vietnamese athletes at the track and field tournament.
