Vietnamese Women’s Football Team receives ASEAN titles

The Vietnamese Women’s Football Team has been presented with two awards by the ASEAN Football Federation in both individual and collective titles.

At the 2012 AFF Cup Championship, Vietnam received the Best Women’s Football Team title in Southeast Asia.

Goalkeeper Kieu Trinh was also named Best Female Football Player in the Southeast Asian Region.  

AFF will host a presentation ceremony in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur on April 3.

Kieu Trinh has been an excellent goal keeper for the Ho Chi Minh City Club for many years and has always been regarded as number one goalkeeper in women’s football in Southeast Asia.

The two biggest goals for the Vietnamese Women's Football Team in 2013 are the SEA Games in Myanmar and the Asian Women's Football.

After conquering Asian Football, the next step for the Vietnamese women’s team is the 2015 World Cup for women.
