Vietnamese men’s football team retain first position in region

The Vietnamese national men’s football team drop one spot to No 97 in the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA’s rankings for July.

However, they still hold the top spot in Southeast Asia, followed by Thailand, world No 115 and the Philippines No 126.
In Asia, Vietnam remain in 15th position. Iran are still the strongest team, ranking world No 23, down three places.
Iran are followed by Japan, world No 33 and the Republic of Korea, world No 37.
Belgium sit atop the world rankings, followed by Brazil and France.
