Accordingly, leaders of Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, General Directorate and Vietnamese Disability Sports Association plan to welcome the delegation at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
Yesterday was the last competitive day of the Vietnamese Paralympics team. Vietnam did not receive any medals.
The Paralympic Games 2016 attracted 11 Vietnamese disability athletes. As the final result, Vietnamese paralympics team excellently won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals in the categories of weightlifting, swimming and track & field.
Earlier, Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Mr. Nguyen Van Kien visited Vietnamese disability athletes and trainers. Embassy of Vietnam made a decision to offer US$ 500, $300 and $200 for the athletes who earned gold, silver and bronze medals.
