In the 48 kilogram women’s boxing, Ngo Thi Phuong beat China’s Jinmei Lin in the final.

Phuong’s teammate Nguyen Thi Hoa lost in the 46 kg final to Indian Mangte Chungneijang Merykom.
 
The Vietnamese men’s shuttlecock team blanked China 2-0 in the final to grab top honors.

But the women’s lost to China and had to be content with the silver.

Vietnam hope for a gold rush on November 5 since they have seven finalists in twelve pencak silat categories.

In billiards & snooker, Dang Dinh Tien knocked out Korea’s Kim Kyung Roul in the men’s singles one-cushion carom event and will meet Japan’s Tadashi in the final on November 5.
