Under the sponsorship of Life insurer FWD Vietnam, she will travel to the Arctic to compete with competitors from 22 other countries for the 42-kilometer course with an average temperature of -30 degrees Celsius on the Arctic ice floes.
Besides Tang Nguyẹt Minh, FWD is sponsoring nine more runners from five other Asian countries.
Runners from all over the world will overcome the harsh weather conditions to compete in the coolest marathon on earth. The North Pole Marathon is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the “Northernmost Marathon on Earth”.
