Lai Ly Huynh crowned king of Xiangqi

Xiangqi player Lai Ly Huynh became the new champion of  Ky Vuong Chinese Chess Championships 2017 this year after he defeated Tran Van Ninh in the final round. Lai Ly Huynh (the second from left) received VND 25 million for the champion.

This year's event attracted 12 Xiangqi players.
 
Accordingly, the champion received VND 25 million, the second winner received VND 12 million, and the 12th runner up owned VND 500,000.
 
Ky Vuong (Chess King) Chinese chess competition was held for the fifth time and this year the players fighted for the crown in the coastal province of Ba Ria- Vung Tau.
