Hoang Xuan Vinh yesterday evening earned a gold medal and set a new national record in the men’s 10m air shotgun final of National Shooting Championships 2017.
The military shooter ranked the first position of the qualifying round with an achievement of 580 points.
In the final round, Hoang Xuan Vinh, Nguyen Hoang Phuong (Military team) and Tran Quoc Duong (Hai Duong) were much expected by the experts.
With a victory of 240 points, Vinh owned a gold medal and beat his old national record made at ISSF World Cup 2017 in India.
In the 50m slow shotgun, the military shooter won also one more gold medal.
