The People’s Committee of Ha Noi yesterday organized Olympic Run Day for Public Health 2016 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day.
The event attracted the participation of 7,000 people.
The Olympic Run Day aims to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s call for all people to exercise to stay healthy; maintain the habit to exercise for better health; contribute improving the quality of life, human resource and building healthy lifestyle & environment.
Deputy Chairman of People’s Committee in Hanoi Ngo Van Quy said 100 percent districts in the city reponsed to this event.
Nguyen Thien Nhan, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front attended the event.
