Taipei - Ha Noi Cargo Air Service Launched

China Airlines’ first cargo flight landed at Noi Bai International Airport in Ha Noi on July 19, starting its international cargo air service between Taipei and Ha Noi.

China Airlines’ first cargo flight landed at Noi Bai International Airport in Ha Noi on July 19.

The airline will use Boeing 747-400 freighters for the cargo flights between Taipei and Ha Noi on Wednesdays and Fridays, each carrying 100 tons of cargo.
 
The new service will open a new gateway for the export of Vietnamese goods to Europe and North America and vice versa via Taipei.
 
China Airlines operates weekly 13 cargo flights between Taipei and Europe and 39 flights between Taipei and North America. 
 
With this new air service, it takes only about 1-2 days to transport cargoes from Viet Nam to Europe and North America while shipping takes 5-10 days.
