VND1.4 trln complex of FPT University&Can Tho Software Park starts construction

Complex of FPT University and FPT Can Tho Software Park officially began construction yesterday.

This is the first high-tech and educational complex of FPT Company in Mekong Delta region with total investment capital of VND 1.4 trillion.

The construction covered total 17 hectares of land including office building, faculties and areas of studying and teaching, gymnasium and sports area for student, private houses for senior expert, park, canteen… which was designed according to international standard, towards an environmentally friendly and efficient use of energy.

The modern educational complex is expected to serve for around 3,000 staffs and more than 5,000 FPT students in next five years.

According to Deputy Chairwoman of the Can Tho city People’s Committee Mrs. Vo Thi Hong Anh, the FPT Company would help the city to hasten progress of modern urban, human resources and science & technology development… to meet requirements of the industrial revolution 4.0.

The People’s Committee of Can Tho city will create favorable condition for FPT Company in building as well as early putting into the operation of the educational complex, added Ms. Vo Thi Hong Anh.
