Vietnamese students win five medals at Int’l Junior Science Olympiad

In the 11th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO), Vietnamese students excellently achieved two gold, two silver and one bronze medals.

Five medals belonged to 10th graders from the Hanoi- Amsterdam High school, including two gold medals went to Mai Dang Quan Anh and Dinh Anh Dung, Nguyen bang Thanh Lam and Nguyen Duc Quang won two silver medals, Nguyen Minh Chinh achieved one bronze medal.

With the result, Vietnam was listed top five of best delegates in this year’s contest.

The 2014 International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) attracted 234 participants from 41 countries and territories. IJSO is an annual contest for 15 year old students in physics, chemistry and biology.

In the 10th International Junior Science Olympiad in India, the Vietnamese students won one gold and five silver medals.
