According to Professor Dam Thanh Son, who is working in Chicago University of the USA, the international physics conference ‘Perspectives in Topological Phases: From Condensed Matter to High-Energy Physics’ is going to summarize the latest status of theories on Topological Phases, which has attracted much research in the last decade.
The conference focuses on topics like A Variational Approach to Chiral Topological Order Interfaces, Bimetric Theory of Fractional Quantum Hall States, Recent Observations on Abelian and Non-Abelian Clustered Quantum Hall States.
Professor Tsuyoshi Nakaya (of Kyoto University in Japan) shared that the international symposium on ‘Neutrino Frontiers’ is going to present the current landscape on contemporary neutrino physics as well as a vision for the future development of this branch and its fundamental impacts on particle physics, astrophysics, nuclear physics, and cosmology. This neutrino frontier is placed at the intersection of the intensity frontier, the sensitivity frontier and the energy frontier. Neutrinos could also link to the dark matter of the Universe. Understanding neutrinos, thus, helps to push the dark matter search forward.
The symposium is an effort to join scientists and promote multinational cooperation to conduct more research on these new frontiers, especially in the Asian region.
Besides the organizers, who are ten professors and scientists from Japan, France, and the USA, the conferences welcomed 80 scientists from 19 nations in the world.
