This success marked a milestone for Vietnam to become a top-list nation in the region regarding satellite technology.

In the meeting, the PM confirmed that the government is going to continue fostering studies on satellite technology so that Vietnam may reap more achievements on space technology in the near future.

There will be a detailed policy and program on the development of this field, which is still quite new in the country, with the strong focus on human resources training.

All young scientists are encouraged to maintain their passion, creativity, and devotion.

After being launched into the Earth’s orbit, MicroDragon Satellite has already contacted with the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS), the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and the control center sited at Tokyo University three times. As scheduled, this satellite will work stably in the next 1-2 weeks.
