The Ministry of Information and Communication will inspect all telecom companies as well as their branches and agencies from May 15 to August 30, aiming at checking their methods of functioning and dealings with pre-paid subscribers.
The ministry inspectorate will directly inspect three mobile network companies, namely, Vinaphone, MobiFone and Viettel.
The Department of Information and Communication in Hanoi will look over Vietnamobile and G-Mobile networks.
Provincial departments of information and technology will examine centers, branches and agencies who deliver pre-paid SIM cards in localities.
