The U.S. Embassy’s American Center and the GreenAms Robotics Team July 23 organized the camp where the participants also learned about how robotics can advance economic development.
During the camp, students, aged 10 to 14, built and programmed robots using Lego Mindstorms EV3 robotics kits. At the end of the camp, the students demonstrated new skills by competing to accomplish a series of obstacle challenges with their robots.
The U.S. Embassy Robotics Camp 2018 is one of many free programs the American Center offering for local residents to learn skills in English, soft skills, entrepreneurship, and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.
