The State President shared that in order for Vietnam to become a prosperous and high-tech nation, Vietnamese people from all over the world should closely collaborate with one another.
He highly appreciated all Vietnamese scientists and professionals who have come back to serve the country after learning abroad. Thanks to their contribution in various fields and their research, teaching as well as starting up activities, Vietnam has gained many positive results, which leads to the improvement of national scientific and technological ability, the economic and social growth.
In the event, the State President also called upon Vietnamese scientists and professionals who are now working abroad to demonstrate their patriotism via specific support to the construction and development of the Vietnam Innovation Network, active participation in technology transfer activities, investment, training collaboration. All aim at the formation of the high-quality human resources and the scientific – technological, social – economic development of the nation.
The event is jointly held by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Education and Training from August 18-24. This is the first time such a large-scale program in the field of science and technology has been organized.
