Vietnam Television (VTV) yesterday held a press conference of final round of 2015 National Robot Contest in the Mekong Delta's city of Can Tho.

This year’s contest themed “Robot plays badminton”, which will take place at Can Tho Sporting Event Hall on May 12- 17, has attracted the attendance of 32 teams from universities, colleagues and vocational schools across the country.
The winner of the 2015 National Robot Contest will represent Vietnam to participate in the 2015 Asian-Pacific Robot Contest in Indonesia on August 21- 25.
This is the first time that National Robot Contest is held in Can Tho city.
However, until now, there are no teams in the Mekong Delta to participate in the contest, said the organizational board.
The 2015 National Robot contest will be broadcasted live on VTV2 and VTV Can Tho channels at 8pm- 10pm.
The annual contest is held by Vietnam Television and Vietnam Toyota Company.
