In its fields, one excellent work will be awarded worth $60,000 and certificate of merit of the Ministry.
All people from 18 years old are eligible for the awards. Works contributing to the country’s cultural, socio-economic development will be accepted. Yet these works have not yet been given prize before.
Entries can be sent to the Department of Science Technology and Environment, the Ministry of Education at 35 Dai Co Viet Street in Hanoi starting November 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018.
A ceremony to give prize is scheduled to take place in May, 2018.
The Education Ministry said that the award aims to multiply shining examples of outstanding people to promote applicable scientific works or inventions and encourage people to carry out scientific and technological researches.
The organizer said it hopes to receive feasible and efficient works namely backyard inventors’ mower.
This year is the seventh year of the awards.
