The night market located on Tran Quy Cap and Bach Dang streets includes 47 stalls featuring drinking and eating services, shopping and entertainment activities. It will be expanded with 40 additional booths at the end of this year.
The market is expected to become a popular tourist destinations among sightseeing foreign travelers, aiming at meeting the demand of traveling, entertaining, shopping and contemplating the city at night.
The project also aims to support home-run businesses in ancient towns and vendors to continue their means of living in accordance with the law and restoring order to sidewalks across the town.
The local authorities launched the first night market on Nguyen Hoang Street in 2012.
