Binh Thuan’s fishermen sailing back to sea after typhoon

This morning November 26, the Southern province of Binh Thuan’s committee for natural disaster prevention & control announced to local fishermen that typhoon Usagi weakened into low-pressure depression and they could return to fishing as usual.

Mr. nguyen Chinh, at Hung Long Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan province said the typhoon did not make landfall in Binh Thuan province therefore there were not as many as damages to fishermen. Now, the weather is normal, local fishermen are preparing their boats for sailing back to sea.

The committee said due to the impacts of typhoon Asagi, 19 houses, 36 boats and 10,500 aquatics were damaged besides the 3km landslides occurred along the beach.
