Typhoon Tembin damages & sinks 13 fishing vessels in Ba Ria- Vung Tau

This year’s the 16th tropical supper storm hitting the East Sea caused serious damages about the property, according to Deputy Head of the Steering Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control of Ba Ria- Vung Tau province Tran Van Cuong yesterday.

Accordingly, big waves and powerful wind sank 13 fishing boats of Ben Tre, Soc Trang and Ba Ria- Vung Tau provinces; blew up one yacht and two aquatic farming areas; uprooted trees; destroyed 20 hectares of rice crops in Xuyen Moc district.

On the same day, the local functional agencies allowed fishing vessels to go offshore; and  markets, schools and administrative companies to re-operate. 

Many hotel, restaurants and tourism areas also re-opened.
