Typhoon Kai-tak gusts level 11

According to the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, typhoon Kai-tak was located at around 180 kilometers of the eastward of the Spratly Islands with its maximum wind of 60- 75 kilometer per hour this early morning.

Typhoon Kai-tak gusts level 11 ảnh 1The tropical storm is expected to move the west- southwestward at a speed of 15- 20 kilometers within next 24 hours.

By 4am tomorrow, its eye will be at around 280 kilometers of the southwestward of the Spratly Islands. The powerful wind near the center could blow at 60- 75 kilometers an hour.

Because of its influence, the southern territorial water of the East Sea including the Spratly Islands continue experiencing rainy weather, wind of level 6-7 and sea rough.

The dangerous zone will be at 5.0- 10.0 degrees north latitude and 108.5 degrees east longitude in next 24 hours.

Kai-tak is predicted to move the west- southwestward at 15 kilometers an hour within next 48- 72 hours.

By the morning Friday, Kai-tak is forecast to be at around 290 kilometers of the southward of the southeastern territorial water of the Con Dao Islands.

The Paracel Islands will see powerful wind of level 7-11, big wave of 5- 7 meters and sea rough.
