Typhoon “Danas” triggers downpours and violent wind in East Sea

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center has just issued a weather warning of a new tropical storm named Danas forming in the northeastern territorial water of the Philippines’s Luzon Island, with a maximum wind of 60- 75 kilometers an hour.

During next 24- 48 hours, Danas is expected to move northwest at a speed of 15 kilometers an hour.

By 7am tomorrow, this dangerous zone will be located at 140 kilometers from Taiwan (China) with a violent wind of 60-90 kilometers an hour. 

Because of an influence of the storm circulation, the northeastern territorial water of the East Sea is warned to experience strong wind and rough sea.

Additionally, the storm circulation together with powerful operation of the southwest monsoon will cause showers, thunderstorm, cyclone, big waves of 2- 4 meters and rough sea in the territorial waters from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, the Gulf of Thailand, a part of the middle and the south- East Sea and the Spratly Islands.
