According to the National Steering Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, the flashflood killed ten people in five provinces of Khanh Hoa, Thua Thien- Hue, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen.
Meanwhile, the central provinces from Thua Thien- Hue to Phu Yen have experienced medium- heavy rains while the northern territorial water of the East Sea including the Paracel Islands has seen the northeast wind of level 6-7, even up to level 8-9.
The international hydrology meteorology forecast centers also warned that a tropical low depression is expected to develop into a storm, and then it is going to enter the East Sea.
In parallel, a new cold air mass is forecast to spread out the northern and central region of Vietnam.
