Temperature in north continues reducing rapidly

According to the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, the cold air has operated stronger and spread out the north and north- central regions since February 2.

In the early morning of February 3, the lowest temperature in capital of Hanoi, Lai Chau city, Son La city, Ha Giang city were respectively measured at 11, 6, 8 and 9 degrees Celsius while the temperature in mountainous areas of Dong Van (Ha Giang), Mau Son and Sa Pa dropped down zero- 2 degree Celsius.

The provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien- Hue have experienced small rainfall and temperature of 10- 13 degrees Celsius at night and 15- 18 degrees Celsius in daytime.

The central provinces from Khanh Hoa to Ninh Thuan have enjoyed comfortable weather with temperature of 26- 29 degrees Celsius. 

Meanwhile, both the Central Highlands and the southern regions have suffered maximum temperature of 28- 31 degrees Celsius. 

Currently, water levels of Nine Dargon River and Saigon River rapidly increase; in particular, water level at Phu An Station on Saigon River reaches 1.71 meters  and it is forecast to be alerted over level 3 in lowland areas of Ho Chi Minh City in next couple of days.
