The heat wave is a sequel to the warm low pressure system originating from the west of the country spreading to the East and Southeast.
From April 15, when the warm low pressure in the west is weaker because of a wave of cold air from the north, the heat will just affect in the south yet some of southern places still suffer the heat until April 16 or 17.
Not only the southern provinces but also the central provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Quang Tri will be affected by the heat.
On April 13, the hot wave will be more severe. Mountainous districts from the northern province of Thanh Hoa to the central province of Phu Yen will suffer the hot spell.
