From October to December, around four or five typhoons and tropical low pressure systems will enter the East Sea.

Of these, around 1- 2 typhoons and tropical low pressure systems are predicted to affect to the mainland of the central and southern region of Vietnam.

Additionally, heavy rain, thunderstorm, cyclone and powerful wind will shoulder over the western and southern and mid- East Sea.

According to Director of the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center Hoang Duc Cuong, the storm and tropical low pressure are predicted to last by the last three months of the year; and the rainy season in the central, central highlands and southern region will also end later compared to the same period of last year because of an influence of temperature on sea surface being cooler.
