One more tropical- low depression heading towards East Sea

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center reported that a new tropical- low depression which was operating in the eastern territorial water of the Philippines moved towards the East Sea yesterday evening.

Meanwhile, the tropical- low pressure circulation has triggered torrential rain and flashflood in the north and north- central region.

At 1pm yesterday, its eye was located at around 16.5 degrees north latitude and 130.5 degrees east longitude with its maximum wind near the center gusted 40-60 kilometers an hour.

Within next several hours, the tropical- low depression is forecast to quickly move the westward at a speed of 25- 30 kilometers per hour.

By 1pm today, the tropical- low depression will be centered at around 16.7 degrees north latitude and 124.3 degrees east longitude, at 240 kilometers of the eastward of the Philippines’ Luzon Island. The strongest wind near the center will gust 40-60 kilometers an hour.

In next 24- 48 hours, the tropical- low pressure system is predicted to move the westward at 20-25 kilometers per hour; and it is predicted to operate stronger.
