According to the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, a low pressure trough has just appeared in the southern province, and it is predicted causing prolonged medium- heavy rains and strong wind in next days.

Because of the influence of low pressure trough, heat wave will stop in the northern provinces from August 10. Both northern and northern central region will suffer heavy rains on the large scale with total rainfall of 100- 200 mm. The weather condition will continue by August 14.
The center also warned that flash flood and landslide will occur in the northern, northwest and western mountainous region.
At present, both northern and central region have experienced serious heat wave with its daytime temperature at 35- 38 degrees Celsius.
