A low- pressure zone yesterday afternoon developed into a tropical depression in the eastern territorial water of the Philippines.

According to the Japan Meteorological Agency and the Hydro-meteorological stations in Asia-Pacific, this dangerous zone is moving westward with a maximum speed of 30 kilometers an hour. 

Meanwhile, the mainland of Vietnam is sweltering an extreme scorching, cyclone and violent thunderstorm days. 

As reported, heavy downpour caused serious flooding in some main roads of Hanoi. Additionally, a strong wind spell blew up motorcycles, trees and billboards. 

Heavy downpours are warned in the northern mountainous provinces and the southern mountainous provinces and cities such as Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, Tien Giang, Dong Thap and An Giang.
