Storm Linfa, which is the second one to enter East Sea this year, however, it is approaching the mainland of China’s Guangdong province, reported the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center yesterday.

By yesterday evening , the typhoon was located at 19, 4 degrees north latitude and 119, 3 degrees east longitude on the northwestern territorial water of Philippines’s Luzon Island. The strong wind near center gusted level 9- 11.
In next 24- 48 hours, the storm is predicted to move northward at 5 kilometers per hour. On Tuesday, the typhoon was centered at 22, 1 degrees north latitude and 120, 1 degrees east longitude on the southwestern water of Taiwan Island with its strongest wind near center up to level 9- 11.
Because of storm moving, northeastward of East Sea’s northern territorial water will see heavy rain, thunderstorm and strong wind of level 6- 7, gust up to level 8- 11, and sea rough.
According to forecast weather, the southern territorial waters from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau province and Spratly Island will face 6- 8 level strong wind, heavy rains, thunderstorm, 2- 4 big waves and sea rough.
