Heat reducing in south from April 16

According to the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, after days of scorching heat with the temperature reached 37-38oC, the weather in the South will cool down thanks to the effect of the weather change in the Northern and Central regions.

Heat reducing in south from April 16

This heat reduction is a sequel of a cold wave heading from the North to the South, pushing the low pressure trough passing the South-central regions and the warm low pressure system in the West up.

From April 16, Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast areas will witness a temperature decrease to 33-34 degrees Celsius, and the heat will become more tolerable.

In the Northern and Central regions, the cold wave has created rain in many places since April 15. Hail and thunderstorm were also caught occasionally. It is forecast that this adverse weather will continue on April 16.
