Group of students wins special prize of Eureka Award 2015

A student group including Vo Lam Khanh Duy and Nguyen Xuan Gieng from Ho Chi Minh City University of Sciences won the Special Prize of the Eureka Award 2015 for their research subject of “Virtual Reality Environment with natural interaction”.

The awarding ceremony was held by the Communist Youth Union Committee in Ho Chi Minh City and National University-Ho Chi Minh City on December 27.
 
The organizational board also granted seven first prizes, 13 second prizes, 14 third prizes and consolation prizes in the fields of social sciences and humanities, education, economy, technology, legal, architecture and construction, science and technology, agriculture and fishery, biotechnology, natural resources and environment.
 
This year, the organizers received 645 topics from 46 universities, colleges, academies in the city and neighboring provinces.
 
More than 80 best topics were selected in the final round.

The annual award kicked off the first time in 1998, aiming to encourage and honor local students’ scientific projects.
