Temperature in Hanoi dropped down 21- 23 degrees Celsius at daytime, and reached at 12 degrees Celsius in evening.
According to the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, the cold front will continue spread out the north part and mid of central region today.
From the midnight of January 8-14, both the north and north- central provinces are warned to experience frost and long- lasting dangerous cold.
The lowest temperature in Red Delta region keeps at 10- 12 degrees Celsius, reduces at 6- 9 degrees Celsius in the mountainous area.
The international hydrology meteorology forecast centers reported that the cold spell will not impact to the weather condition in the southern region. The daytime temperature in Ho Chi Minh City keeps at 23- 31 degrees Celsius.
Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa and the south part of the central region will enjoy the milder weather with temperature of 22- 24 degrees Celsius while the temperature in areas from Da Nang to Thua Thien- Hue continues reducing rapidly, causing the damaging cold on the large scale.
