Currently, as the water level at the downstream stations of the Cuu Long (nine dragons) and Sai Gon River reaches at the alarm level 3, the high tide is warned to submerge the low areas of Ho Chi Minh City from November 16.

By 5: 30 am this morning, the tide in Ho Chi Minh City reached its peak of 1.63 meters, submerging many streets in districts of 1, 2, 7, 6 and Thu Duc.
The weather center warned that new tropical low pressure or storm is forecast to appear and make landfall in the south central and central highlands of Vietnam in the upcoming time.
