'Dujuan' typhoon affects indirectly to weather on East Sea

Typhoon named Dujuan which is operating on the eastern territorial water of Taiwan Island, reported the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center yesterday.

It was located at 22, 5 degrees north latitude and 126, 6 degrees east longitude, at 550 kilometers towards east southeast. The strongest wind speed near center blew level 15- 17.

In next 24 hours, its foward speed will be 15 kilometers per hour in west northwest .

By evening today, 'Dujuan' storm will be at 23, 8 degrees north latitude and 123, 1 degrees east longitude, its extreme wind near center will gust up to level 15- 17.

In next 24- 48 hours, the typhoon will continue moving ahead west northwest and hit the southeastern territorial water of Phuc Kien (China) with wind speed at 15- 20 kilometers.

Today, the storm is forecast not enter into East Sea. The north eastern territorial water of East Sea will see level 5- 8 strong wind speed because of the influence of the storm circulation.

In next 48- 72 hours, it will move the north northwestwards of wind speed at 15- 20 kilometers, reported the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center.

An estimated 3, 000 people evacuated from Taiwan’s Luc Island and Lan Tu Island before Dujiuan made landfall.
