Country faces rainfalls in dry season: weather forecast center

Large parts of country are expected to face torrential rain and thunderstorms associating with cooler atmosphere until Thursday, the National Hydrology Forecast Center said on Monday.

Both the north and north- central regions are currently suffering occasional cold air masses and fog with the lowest temperature of under 20 degrees Celsius; even bitterly cold winds are hitting the central highlands and southern regions.

Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien- Hue and the northern region including Hanoi are expected to have morning showers, fog, high humidity of 70- 97 percent, slight wind of level 2-3, the lowest temperature of 22- 25 degrees Celsius and the highest temperature of 26- 29 degrees Celsius. 

Meanwhile, provinces and cities from Da Nang to Binh Thuan and the central highlands region are facing heavy rainfall, thunderstorm, northeast monsoon of level 2-3, air humidity of 55- 95 percent, the minimum temperature of 23- 26 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature of 29- 32 degrees Celsius in the evenings. 

The southern area is forecast to have the same weather condition with the lowest temperature of 24- 27 degrees Celsius.
