Cooler air hits north from November 7

According to the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, a cold air mass has begun powerfully operating in the northern region before it directly affected to the north central and mid- central regions on November 7.

Cooler air hits north from November 7 ảnh 1From tonight, the lowest temperature in the northern mountainous area will drop down at 15- 17 degrees Celsius. 

Because low atmospheric pressure are compressed by the cold air mass, both the northern central and mid- central regions will face to the unfavorable weather as medium to heavy rains, thunderstorm, lighting, cyclone, hail and powerful wind.

Additionally, medium- heavy rains are forecasting to hit the south central coastal provinces from November 6- 8.

A flood is also predicted to appear in the local rivers of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and river systems from Binh Dinh to Khanh Hoa.

Meanwhile, the south coastal areas of the East Sea from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, from Ca Mau to Kien Giang and the Gulf of Thailand including the Spratly Islands will be also impacted by showery weather and thunderstorm.
