Cold spell hits north

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center yesterday reported that a cold front is predicted to hit the northern and central provinces in the upcoming days.

By morning tomorrow, the cold weather will cover over the northern region of the country.  

From October 30, the cold air will be able to spread out the coastal central provinces and the south part of the central region. 

The temperature in the northern mountainous areas will drop down 10 degrees Celsius and the highest temperature in the Red Delta region will be at 24 degrees Celsius. 

Because of its influence, heavy rains will appear in the coastal central and southern region.

Today, a tropical converge range is forecast to develop into the tropical depression and cause showery weather and thunderstorm in the south of East Sea and the south central part of the country.
