Heavy rains swept across Quang Nam and Quang Ngai province from November 14-15. the rainfall measured over 160 mm. According to the forecast weather, heavy rains will continue to shoulder in the area of central provinces from Ha Tinh to Phu Yen province on November 16, the rainfall is estimated to measure about 100-200 mm.

Due to high rainfall, water level on local rivers from Ha Tinh to Phu Yen is predicted to increase rapidly, causing a damaged flooding. The highest floodwater on the local rivers from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai was alerted over level 2, and even over level 3.

Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tinh Phong Commune in Quang Ngai Nguyen Hai Kien said that heavy rains and rising upstream floodwater have constantly experienced in the locals, causing difficulties for blocking traffic on some roads in the recent days.
