5-6 typhoons & tropical depressions to hit Vietnam in 2018

According to the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, around 12- 13 tropical typhoons and depressions are expected to enter the East Sea and 5-6 unpredicted storms and tropical low pressure systems will directly impact to the mainland of Vietnam this year.

Most of the tropical typhoons and depressions are forecast to directly affect to the central region. 

In the next months of 2018, the average temperature across the country will equal to the years. Heat wave is forecast to commence in the northern and central regions later than the previous years. 

The rainfall in the northern and central regions will be higher than the same period of last year. 

From April to June, upstream water level on Nine Dragon River will be higher than average volume of annual year and equivalent to the same period of last year.

Saltwater influx in the southern region also is forecast less than the average annual years. 
The weather center also warned that high flood tide would hit the southern coastal region at the beginning of October and November. 

By the middle of November and December, cold air mass will begin moving the southern region.
