Viet Nam uses US$100 million to improve its land management system

The inauguration of the project was presided by Mr. Ngoc and Mr. Martin Rama, acting country director for the World Bank in Viet Nam.

This is the first time that Viet Nam has used a loan from the World Bank for land management. The program will use a total of US$100 million, of which US$75 million will come from the World Bank.

The program is expected to modernize the system for collecting land surveys, register and issue land licenses.

If successful, this will improve the administrative formalities steps in management, publicize information about lands and give every resident access to up-to-date information about land funds.
